I didn't know I had an actual sweet tooth until I've attended the #MerryCremas2014 at the Eastwood Central Plaza yesterday. I'm more of a salty treats kind of gal so, naturally, this is the first-ever "sweets event" I've ever attended.
Of course, I attended the event with my (surprisingly) very cooperative daughter:
And since I was with her, we passed by the (most) kid-friendly booths first:

The Fun Ranch booth had two horses that the kids can ride whenever they want to - for free! |

Kids and adults alike could play in the Toss That Hoop booth, also for free. This is also where we signed up for the art class where they taught the kids how to make Christmas cards. |

As usual, the photobooth - Playlight Photography - was a hit. We fell in line for few minutes to get our picture taken. She found a cowboy hat and being a huge, huge, HUGE, Jessie the Cowgirl fan, she had to wear it. |

Double Delights Food Products had so many cute polvoron cupcakes which were a hit with the kids. |
After that, we finally had time to visit the other booths as well. There were a looooooot of booths with witty names but this my favorite. Go figure:
Among all the displays, though, this one by Nothing But C caught my eye:
And it's an actual cake! Ang galing! I was so amazed by it, I almost touched it but the people in the booth were eyeing me so I moved along.
While waiting for Brianna's art class to begin, I had a quick bite from the Kuya Pao's Grill booth but only because I saw this on their display:
I will - and can - never pass up a chance to eat isaw!
And then, it's art class time!
The instructor had a hard time projecting his voice for all the kids to hear, though. Wish he had a lapel mic with him or something.
Anyway, this is Brianna's Christmas card output for mommy:
After the art activity, we hung around for a bit because the emcee keeps on telling everyone that the hosts for the program were none other than...
Chico and Delamar of The Morning Rush! Oh my gosh, I was really buzzing with excitement to see them in the flesh! I have been a huge huge fan of the two since I was in highschool. My brother can't stop me from spazzing out. Too bad, I didn't get to have a picture taken with them. Huhuhuhuhuhuhu. <End of depression>
Alaska Crema also invited a chef, Chef Kai, to cook a dish on-stage. I forgot what it's called but it's a beef dish that tasted soooooo good! They made everyone try it and when I did, I couldn't help but want rice kasi yun nalang ang kulang.
Anyway, these were the performers we got to watch before Brianna asked if we could eat dinner:
It was a great experience altogether. My lack of a sweet tooth didn't hinder me - and my daughter - to actually enjoy the Alaska Crema's Merry Cremas Festival.
My fave food item in this festival was Blue Toque's Strawberry Panna Cotta! :D
