(Also, PHOTOS GALORE!!!)
Last Tuesday, March 17, the KinderCrib Learning and Childcare Center held their Moving Up Day at the Tanghalang PasigueƱo main theater.
My mom, dad, Alfred, Brianna, and I arrived at the venue quite early but I was actually surprised to see a whole bunch of families already at the lobby, waiting for the teachers to get the students. I mean, I'm used to a whole bunch of people running late for these kinds of events so kudos to all the parents! Hihi.
We took the time to take some photos at the Tanghalang PasigueƱo lobby (which, by the way, is so grand, considering it's a government structure. Yes, I have prejudice over government anything):

After registration, the ushers gave us, the parents, the framed photos of our kids from the photoshoot a few weeks ago. Here's Brianna's:

We went in the theater and found our seats. After a few minutes, the programme started with the usual opening prayer, flag ceremony, and opening remarks. And then, the much-awaited Beauty and the Beast presentation from the kids started:
I'm sorry, I just took photos of Brianna's part of the presentation. I was too excited.
Anyway, Teacher Rica, 2 parents, and a student had speeches prepared which they delivered after the presentation. The second parent made me cry. Seriously. Her speech wasn't exactly for the parents but it put tears in my eyes. Lame, I know.
After that, they gave the kids their certificates and I had a blast watching the kids walk/run to their teachers to get their certificates and take a bow in the middle of the stage.
The KinderCrib chant and their Tomorrow "grad song" came in last and the kids just went nuts over the balloons. Sigh. The perks of being a child...
And then after that, more photos!

| Somebody help me! I want to remove our pet eyes. LOL. I literally have non-existent Adobe Photoshop skills. Yes, that includes basic editing skills, wala talaga. SOMEBODY... ANYBODY... HELP ME! |
Once again, I would like to thank the whole KinderCrib Learning and Childcare Center for helping me with teaching and taking care of Brianna. I know it's gasgas but really, no words can express how much gratitude I have in my heart for T. Nurse, T. Rox, T. Rica, T. Faith, and the rest of the KinderCrib team.
(I'm so sorry if I sound overly emotional but it's my first time and the feelings are totally overflowing...)
If you live in Cainta, within Greenwoods, I highly recommend the KinderCrib Learning and Childcare Center. They not only focus on the children's academic performance but in their over-all development as well. They also care for the parents. I've had a couple of tearful sessions with Brianna's teachers when I needed to let all the stress out. (Actually, ako lang naman nagshare, di naman sila nagtanong but they were kind enough to listen and offer advice. :D) It's a great place for both kid and parent, that I can assure.
There are 2 more classes for the junior group and less than a class for the senior group - HUHUHU SANA UMABOT KAMI! :(( - so if you're looking for a preschool where you can get a firm foundation for your child, KinderCrib is the place you're looking for.
They are also offering summer classes:
Brianna will be enrolling in the Jolly Phonics Class this summer, where they teach the kids to read and write on their own using the Jolly Phonics reading program that was developed in the United Kingdom. (To be quite honest, when T. Nurse explained this to me roughly a year ago, that's when I decided to put Brianna in KinderCrib. :D)
So there you have it. Brianna's first Moving Up Day was not only her milestone, but mine as well, as a mom. I am still overflowing with pride and joy over this, even after almost a week. Nakakaiyak parin and I still grin like a chimpanzee whenever I watch the videos on my phone.

You must be a proud mom. There's nothing like seeing your kids achieve something in school. I always get teary eyed at Moving up ceremonies or graduation because I feel like i may have done something good for my child to be able to achieve such milestones.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a proud mom right hurrrr. Halos everyday, whenever we'd talk about what she did in school, napproud nako, what more seeing her walk/run over to her teacher to get her certificate? Sobrang naiyak talaga ako. Haha!

Deleteit sure is a struggle to update the blog regularly but i am sure you will get the hang of it. it also pays to not be too hard on yourself when you cannot keep up with all the posts you would like to write about. :)
ReplyDeletecongratulations to your little girl on her moving up day! this post reminds me that i have yet to write about my little man's culminating activity in school! :P
I was too eager nung simula but I couldn't keep up, balancing work, chores, and Brianna-time. I know it's no excuse but I literally crash on my bed at the end of each day. Thank you for your advise, will try the "not be too hard on yourself" part, at least. Hehe.
DeleteAnd thank you! Have you posted the article re: Jared's culminating activity already? Would love to read it. :)
