Bazaar Find: Love. Hope. Faith.

My parents, my sister, Brianna, and I decided to visit the Manila Sundance Bazaar at the World Trade Center on their last day, January 25, which was last Sunday. It would've been a "normal" trip to a bazaar if it weren't for this one brand that caught my attention:

Love Hope Faith Group is not like any other charity groups. They sell watches, shirts, bags, and chocolates. Weird combination if you think about it, especially when you see chocolates in the mix, but when you REALLY think about it, it works. 50% of their proceeds go to fund the treatments of cancer patients and their beneficiaries.

Their watches come in two sizes: the bigger ones and the smaller ones. Personally, I'm leaning towards the bigger ones. Anyway, The watches cost Php200 each for both sizes. We got two watches last Sunday: one for my sister (the navy blue one) and one for Brianna (hot pink).

The face of the watch is made of hard plastic while the strap is made of rubber. Obviously, Brianna has smaller arms so we had to have more holes punched into the strap - which they do for free on-site - so it would fit her.

My dad bought a black shirt from them. They have 7 sizes available for the shirts: 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL, and 2XL.

The shirts have a really simple design but what's written on it is so powerful, you can't help but feel like you need to get into action when you read it. According to their website, it's Php300 per shirt but my dad got his for Php250.

Like I said, they also sell bags and chocolates. Their bags cost Php200 each and the chocolates cost Php50 for the 50-gram pack while the 200-gram pack costs Php150. I didn't get the chance to taste the chocolate even though they had a tray there which - I assume - is for free taste.

Right now, they have an on-going Facebook giveaway for those who have purchased the watches. I entered the giveaway myself even if the watch I was wearing wasn't mine. Hehe. Here's my entry:

Love Hope Faith Group currently doesn't have a physical shop although they have an office in Makati (Lower Ground Cityland 10 Tower 1, H.V. Dela Costa St., Salcedo Village, Makati City) where you can actually purchase their products. If you already sent in your orders via text (09178884516 and 09228740334), you can pick up your orders in the Love Hope Faith Group Makati office if you are in the area. They can ship your orders as well, if you prefer to have them shipped. They are usually in bazaars, too, so if you'd want to purchase your watch, you can visit them in bazaars. Their bazaar announcements are usually made on their Facebook page.

I really, sincerely hope you guys could check them out. The Love Hope Faith Group lives up to their name; they spread love, hope, and faith not only to their beneficiaries but to all of us as well.

(This is not a sponsored post. I am just honestly a fan of their advocacy and their products.)

A December weekend to remember with Medela

Ah Christmas time. The time of the year when practically each and everyone of us has someplace else to be not only because they want to but also because they need to. Christmas shopping, reunions, trips, what-have-yous will practically make your December calendar full so it's high time you include these Medela activities to the upcoming weekend:

Breastfeeding: A Crash Course for the Busy Mom

I am a breastfeeding advocate. I've breastfed Brianna for 2 years, 7 months before I weaned her off it and I highly encourage new moms to do it. It was easy for me, being a work-from-home mom but if you're a working mom, it can get quite tricky. Medela has teamed up with Babyland to organize a free seminar on Saturday, December 6, from 8am to 12nn called Breastfeeding: A Crash Course for the Busy Mom to help raise awareness for breastfeeding for busy moms. It will be held at the Babyland at Facilities Center, 548 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

The (1st ever!) Medela House Christmas Sale

After the seminar, you might want to drop by the first ever Medela House Christmas Sale on the same date to tick off all the items in your Christmas shopping list. Doors will open at 10am for regular customers and it will be held at the Medela House at 29 First Street, New Manila in Quezon City. Enjoy discounted items from brands such as TippyToes, HipSeats, Tummy Tub, and more! will If you pre-register to the event, you'll receive a lootbag c/o Medela!

The Learning Basket Community Fair

Kids can join in the weekend fun, too! The Learning Basket Community Fair - which will be held on December 7, Sunday - has all sorts of books available for kids and kids-at-heart alike. There will also be a storytelling session with Jomike Tejido and KaHone Art, Ma'am and Mom's Educational Hub, and many more will join in the merriment as well. The community fair will be held at the Best for Families Inc. headquarters located at 29 First Street, New Manila in Quezon City.

Have a fun weekend!

Expo Mom 2012

Going to bazaars started giving me a sense of glee just last year. I don't know if it is because of Brianna or I've finally become a "lady" but going through countless racks of clothes and dozens of accessories has finally become a necessity for me. Lucky for me, Mommy Mundo usually have bazaars that are meant for moms and moms-to-be and for their second bazaar this year, they will be holding the Expo Mom 2012 on May 5-6, 2012 at the Rockwell Tent.

To add more fun to the Expo Mom 2012 event, Mommy Mundo has an exciting theme for the 5th year of their flagship event: MODERN MOTHERHOOD. Their website and Facebook page have provided its subscribers of different kinds of modern moms. You can visit their sites to know what kind of mom you are.

As for me,

Well, actually, according to the descriptions posted in their sites, I am a mixture of a breastfeeding mom, a hands-on mom and a tech mom. I am a breastfeeding mom because, well, I still breastfeed despite the fact that Brianna is already a year, 2 months old. I am a hands-on mom because all of Brianna's experiences, I want to be a part of and that is the reason why I chose to work from home. Tech mom because as I've said, I'm a work-at-home mom who uses the power of technology for my freelance writer job.

Being a modern mom is fun and exciting. Being with people who share the same experiences as you will make it more fun. Join Mommy Mundo's Expo Mom 2012 event on May 5-6, 2012 at the Rockwell Tent and share your experiences with other modern moms and shop 'til you drop from the booths momprenuers have put up just for that event.
